i know so as i lost 19 pts for their inquiry eq was a soft pull. If you read the ex my fico it tells you that ex does not provide this information they use tu standards on the don't-- like it will say no installment loans as a derogatory therefore lowering your score. TU is so far behind on my fico it is ridiculous. they want you to use vantage--BOOOOOOOOOO!!!! It's a crazy world out there.
Example: My fico experian--704 Experian plus: 761 minus 19 pts for CCCU inq--742
My apt. mgr said they also pull experian as it's easier to read.
OK, we've got several different things going on here. When your apartment manager says that "they also pull experian as it's easier to read," s/he is talking about the Experian
report. I'm assuming that this means the full Experian report that comes directly from them. That doesn't tell you which Experian score they used; could be FICO, could be EX Plus or other FAKO.
The 19-point drop for an inq: what was that on? Your FICO EX score from here? The EX plus score?
What they're saying on your myFICO score report is that EX does not provide the "here's what you're doing right" information for the scales on screen 2. That's why you can see the scales for EQ and TU on screen 2, but not for EX. That's the same reason why the EX FICO score report doesn't have the simulator option that EQ and TU have. So Experian doesn't fully support the myFICO consumer product that we have here, in that they don't give the warm fuzzies that help you determine what you're doing right and where you need to be going. But they DEFINITELY fully support the EX FICO score.
If your FICO TU is very different from your FICO EX and FICO EQ, then it's worth taking the time to compare the reports line by line to find out why. But if the FICO TU is different from the EX Plus score or the TrueCredit whatever-it-is TU score or something else, then you're comparing apples to oranges to carburetors, and there will be no correlation.
