Hey guys, I bought an item off of FB ad and this is the first time it happened to me but the item was $42 and a few days later the store got shut down. They never shipped it and I bought it thru paypal for the 5% bonus. I emailed, no response. Should I dispute via PayPal first and then discover?
My friend told me it cost money to dispute it with the bank/credit card. So, if I dispute it with paypal, does paypal eat the cost or paypal and discover will? How should I proceed? Thanks. I never really thought about it like that cause we're the consumer. It's very interesting how the banks operates.
Is there a place that you could contact FB and dispute the charge through that route?
Wow never thought about that! Thanks.
Order of operations for this would be FB, Paypal, then the CC.... Paypal can get very irate and may close your account if you go to Discover first..

Facebook won't help, start with PayPal. FB sells tons of ads to scammers as they are not liable, just watch all the 1000 dollar tool boxes for 99 plus 2.50 shipping! Always check the website before buying anything on FB, do a who's and see how old the site is. The other scam is they send you an empty box or with some Bs in it, then they can tell PayPal we shipped the product!
