Freeze report to stop collection hard inquiries

Hi guys,
I am suffering from collection agencies hard inquiries on EX. Every other month I see a new hard pull inq on my EX. All those collection accounts are no longer on my report because they are 9 years old but the collection agencies still pull my report (hard pull). I couldn't fight those inq because EX refused to dispute and I don't really want to contact the collection people. If I freeze my EX report, do you think they will not be able to pull my report? I heard that collection agencies can still pull credit even if the file is frozen. Is this true?
Do these collection inqs have different code. In other words, if I apply for a new account or a limit increase, will the new or current creditor know that I have a collection inq on my report or it just shows as a regular credit card inq?

Re: Freeze report to stop collection hard inquiries

Put a Fraud alert on you reports-

Send Non-PP letters

Dispute the INQ's

sue them-

The INQ's look the same-

If they are coded "Collections" (as they should be) it looks even worse.

Re: Freeze report to stop collection hard inquiries

Fraud alert will not solve the problem because they still have access to the report. I think if I freez it then they can't view it at all. So my question is "can CA pull the report even if I freez the report? "

Maybe- but it will allow EX to remove the INQ's

Re: Freeze report to stop collection hard inquiries

Could you please explain more? How will fraul alert allow EX to remove inqs. I called EX 30+ times trying to dispute and remove CA inq and they kept saying no no no. They said I should call CA directly. I sent a letter by mail and they sent me an updated report that shows nothing on the investigation result section. So that is why I need more explantion on how fraud alert help remove inq. I remember that EX offered me to place fraud alert on my report but they said the inq will not be removed unless CA asked CRA to remove it and I don't think CA will be cooperative

I think that we had such a flood of posts that this thread got shoved off page 1 quickly. Once that happens, threads tend to die off.

Bumping to bring it back up.

I am going to walk the line here-

Ex will only allow you to dispute INQ's if you have a Fraud alert.
