GW Response from WFNNB- What next?

I GW'ed World Financial bank because I had one 30 day late payment back in 2003 and wanted to have it removed since it's the only "bad" thing on my report. I was surprised that I even received a response and this is what they sent me: "This letter is to confirm that your account was opened on 03/29/03. Please be assured that we are currently not reporting any history of late payments to the credit bureau(s). We can only remove or change information that our company incorrectly supplied to the credit bureau. Any information that is correctly reported will not be changed." According to the letter, they aren't reporting it, but it shows on all 3 credit bureaus. What's the next step with this? Do I dispute the late payment and provide this letter as proof to delete? Any help is appreciated Smiley Happy

Hi vansessalove. I think that the key wording in their letter to you is currently. Their current reporting is not showing late, even though a payment from five years ago is. I would wait 30-45 days and try someone else within the company.
