GW letter to mortgage Co.

I am sending out a GW letter to my mortgage co.Should I send it to the original coWAMU(servicing was sold back in JAN but only co. reporting on my credit) or my current co. Wells Fargo. I had a forebearance agreement which was finally paid in full exactly one year ago and have not skipped a beat since or during the term of the agreement. In case anyone doesnt relize it it reports late every month through out the payment term starting with 120 day late do to a 30 day late. My two year mortagage history looks terible even though I weathered the storm and escaped a foreclosure a few years back but it looks like I made late payments for over a year straight when in fact I was paying more money for an entire year. If anyone has had this experience please post your results. Thanks in advance, you guys and gals are great.

Also, is thee a certain dept. I should address it to. I decided to send to both. Is this a good idea also? It reports on only my wifes credit and not mine at all and my current one reports on both. Thanks in advance.

Re: GW letter to mortgage Co.

sad woman

Same thing happen to me.  I was making late payment due to personal problems.  Sent GW letter to my mortgage comp. and was not very happy with their response.  Just a simple NO.
I am refinancing my mortgatge and found a 7.75% interest rate.  Lot better than what I am paying now.
Good luck with the GW letter you are about to send.

Re: GW letter to mortgage Co.

I havent obviuosly received any responses yet but I mailed the letters and used the planet feedback site which I didnt even know existed. Has anyone had any luck using that site to send correspondence to Creditors?
