I had success with CapOne Auto through planet feedback. I sent a letter through them and after about 2 weeks got a call from someone at CapOne saying they would delete the 30 day late (from March 2009). They followed up with a letter and the late is now gone from all credit bureau reports. I didn't get back the 50 points I lost for the late, but still..it's gone and that's what matters. I'd suggest using planet feedback.
I've had no luck, however, with CapOne credit cards in getting lates removed.

I am not familiar with panetfeedback. What exacty did you do? How do you use the website to GW?I
I've used it for a PFD (was successful) and a GW (unsuccessful). PFB's website could use an overhaul, but basically you type your letter via their website and they will e-mail it to a list of higher-ups within CapOne, in your example.

Who did you address it to? I could not find Cap One Auto in PF. Thanks.
