Re: Credit Bureaus

I am so frustrated with this. 4-19-21, I just called every number given for TU including a number for a live agent and get the same robot stating what no one wants to hear. Something is definitly going on with this Bureau. Maybe the covid has hit their staff.

Re: General Rant on TransUnion

@0REDSOX7 Unbelieveable. I wish I hadn't disputed the 5 accounts I needed them to update, don't know why I let them talk me into disputing them when all they had to do was update them. I have an TU membership and for the past 5 days I can't even get a refresh credit report from thier website. Now I'm being told to call Consumer Relations, I'm on hold for them now - let's see the wild goose chase I get....Keep you posted.

Re: Credit Bureaus

Hi all, I'm going through the same thing as well with TU. My TU has not updated since Feb 28 and I'm ready to go for a mortgage app but need to see my mortgage score and updated reported. I called today and the rep mentioned there is a lot of ppl calling about TU reporting slow but he could not tell my why. He said that there is no known error of why things are reporting slow. It's ridiculous!!!!

Help with Transunion

Hey guys, I need help or any suggestions on what to do with Transunion. My accounts on my Transunion report haven't been updated since January/February. I have about 20 accounts (installment loans and credit cards) and the latest one to update was one credit card account and that was on March 11th. The other 19 accounts haven't been updated since January and a few in February. Experian usually updates the day after my statements cuts and equifax updates about 2-3 days after. I called the banks to verify and they all confirmed they reported the updated balances as soon as my statement cuts. I called Transunion and they said they can only do a dispute and that I should calls the banks. I basically get no where. I get my reports from myFICO, Experian and credit karma/WalletHub. In all 4, my Transunion reports are all way behind. My Transunion fico score is about 90-100 lower than Experian and Transunion. Any idea on what to do? Thanks

Re: General Rant on TransUnion

Here's the Twitter reply I got.  They do not understand or comprehend the issue.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your patience. It is a pleasure to meet you where you are on social media. Let's get you the assistance you need!

Many lenders send updates to the credit reporting agencies every 30 days. However, it’s up to your lender how often they submit updates to your account, so it may be a good idea to ask them how often they do so.

It’s also important to note that lenders report at different times of the month, so you might see slight differences in your reports, and therefore your credit scores, at any given time.

We can assist by initiating a dispute on the outdated account information or you may call us at 1-800-916-8800. If you would like to dispute information contained in your credit report, please provide your personal information in the link provided below, along with the details of the information you feel is inaccurate. Please also include your name on social media and the social handle you have reached out to us on.

*edit to remove the link*

Once received, we will open the dispute for you. Most dispute investigations are completed within two weeks, but some may take up to 30 days. Once completed, you should receive your investigation results at your verified address within seven (7) business days after.

Best regards!

Re: Help with Transunion

While I don't know what the solution to this is, there have been others recently that have posted about the same issue you are having. It's not just you, so I just wanted to throw that out there for you. So far I have not seen anyone post the solution they have found to correct the situation, but I would keep an eye out on recent posts regarding a lag in TU to see if anyone makes any headway.

Re: Help with Transunion

Same here. They don't mind updating my Inquiries but the accounts stretching back to February are still stuck in limbo. What gives with that outfit anyway. Can a compaint to the CFPB get them on the ball?

Re: Help with Transunion

It may just be me but I've been noticing weird things going on with reporting for over a year now... from all 3.
