No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
A good combo is to have one 3-in-1 monitoring service (I use TrueCredit) to look at your credit reports. Forget the scores, which are FAKO's. ou can pull all three reports every 24 hours + 1 minute. Then when you think that something is going on that will affect your scores, you can cough up the $$$ for your actual FICO's.
Ignore the FAKO scores and the advice that comes with them, which is frequently irrelevant if not downright damaging.
If you're really having to do some digging, you can pay each credit bureau directly for your full report. This usually costs $8 - 10, and it will display some additional info that you might not see on the 3-in-1's. Again, unless you are buying your EQ report directly from Equifax, do not pay for your scores, because TU and EX will happily sell you FAKO's.
