Everytime I call, it’s always 2+ hour wait. So I left my phone on speaker for like 2 hours and 40 minutes and no one came to the phone so I hung up.
Is there any other way to cancel this? There customer service is extremely unreliable. It should definitely be an online option to cancel this. I have even emailed them like 4 times and I still haven’t got a reply back. Also I sent the first email on Wednesday.
any help would be appreciated!
I am going to be following this thread.
I signed up yesterday and was meaning to cancel first thing monday morning.
Send an email to them with your membership #, request to cancel, tell them because of the hold time on the phone so long. I did it last month. An email will be stamped date and time after you sent it, just in case you need it to dispute with them or with your CC company. They get back to me like 5 days after that and it canceled.
OP, I'm assuming you are using the main number they provide on their web site to try and cancel. Go to this thread below that I started, which will provide you with a different number that generally speaking has significantly less wait times. In fact, the last time I used it the wait time was 0 and someone picked right up, where the main number and alternate numbers were quoting an hour and a half I believe:
See what I just posted in another, older topic similar to this one. No need to call CCT.
I have managed to cancel my last couple trials over the phone without any wait using the normal number. If I get a long wait estimate when I call then I hang up and call again at a time that I think will be less busy. Such as an hour after they were supposed to close on Wednesday or a couple hours after opening on Sunday.
Did they take your CC number? Just call the bank and report it stolen or something, isn't that an option? That way when they try to charge it will not go through
I went through this just yesterday using the "new" number. I was quoted 15 minutes, ended up being about 25 but it sure beat the 2+ hours quoted on the "regular" line. The first time I called to cancel a few months ago I decided to wait out the 2+ hrs. and ended up being on hold for and hour and 20 mins. This time, before calling, I sent an email but three days after and without a sign of any answer from them I decided to just call. Calling a few minutes before their "opening" time has worked for some. I tried the "a few minutes after" aproach but got the recording that they were closed for the day.
I'm glad to hear that you were able to cut back your wait time significantly by using the number linked above.
