Yes you are correct. Something has changed with CBs I suppose? The last time I did this for someone with no history. It was six months. This time two months! For them to update so quickly is a big surprise for me.

I told him to grab one and use and pay it monthly over the next 6 months. Then we'll negotiate his vehicle price and grab a pre-approval for the auto loan when that time comes.
