I paid a lump sum on a credit card a few weeks back (way before my statement/closing date).
Anxious to see how my credit is impacted, but no updates yet.
My CC statement/closing date was the 14th - so I expected to see something today from the credit monitoring sites.
Am I jumping the gun?
Would they email me if there was utilization change from 90% to 3%?
Also...
I am authorized user on a card... but it doesn’t show on Experian. How can I get it added?
Sometimes it can take up to a week for bureaus to update. Typically they update my balances a day or so after my lenders have reported to them.
EX is usually the first to update for me followed by TU and finally EQ about a week to 10 days later.
Ah ok... lol.
Ill be patient.
Thanks!

Yes, you're jumping the gun! From my own experience, the more anxious I am to hurry up and see a change reflected on my reports, the longer it takes! It's like...somehow they just know you're anxiously awaiting their update....
Alerts are generally set by the user, so if you've set your alerts to notify you when your utilization changes, then, yes, they should notify you. But now that I think about it...I don't know that the credit monitoring sites offer customized alerts. Hmmm... I think I'm thinking about the CC companies themselves.
