Hello I am new here! I am trying to figure out how do I pay off my debt. In the past banks closed my accounts a lot but I am not sure if that is the role. It will be a big help if someone tells me who I go to pay it off. I see it only on Equifax, TransUnion. I also debt on Experian with my bank but I know 100% I paid it all. is it false? I know I have it paid with my bank because I manually pay them. Who do I go to pay off all of it? Thanks
If you see a debt on your credit report, it will show to whom you owe this debt. For example, you may see an old debt for $100, and lists Capital One as the creditor. Capital One's phone number will probably be listed there. But let's say they didn't list their phone number. No problem, you can just go to the Capital One website to get the number. Then just give them a call. They might ask for your account number, or social security number instead. Once they find you in the computer, they can explain what the debt is for and how to pay it.

There is no way to pay all of it at once.
You need to contact each creditor who reports that you owe them money, and ask them for a bill or statement. The bill or statement will tell you how to pay them.
Honestly, if you have had accounts closed by banks in the past I wouldn't be in a huge hurry to do anything without running your situation by the good folks in the rebuilding section of the forums. I'd suggest finding out who you owe, how much you owe them, and what the date was when that account defaulted - post that info in the rebuilding forum and see what suggestions people have. The last thing you'd want to do is poke a sleeping bear that was about to disappear from your report, for example.
Thank you this is a big help!
