Re: How do you handle the frustration?

As far as Navient goes they wont remove or change anything. You basically have to dispute the crap out of them and sometimes a late slips by and they forget to answer it. I had one removed that way. I just disputed the crap out of it until one day they forgot to answer the dispute and done. Not the preferred way to do anything but with Navient the only way I found. I hope you have better luck. Just be patient and dont be late on anything and your scores will recover.

Re: How do you handle the frustration?

Just a quick update, today passed a milestone as my first score went over 670 (EX 679), been a long haul from scores right around 500...thanks so much for this place..

I am down to two negative accounts, Ford and Navient that I am resigned to the fact they will be with me until early 2023... goal is to hit 700 by the end of 2020...

It's never fun having derogatories on your reports, but their effect will diminish as time goes on.

I have 7 derogatory accounts on my reports, which are all there until 2023 or so as well. But every month I can tell that they're affecting me less and less.

Edit: I just realized I posted almost the exact same thing last year in this thread Smiley LOL At least I'm consistent! haha

The 679 in my username is because that was my score when I found this forum.  Like you I had a ton of negatives and found this place while trying to get rid of the last hold outs.  I got it down to one but had to wait for Cap One to go the distance.  Scores stayed in the low 700s until that last one dropped then jumped to 775.  Hit 800 shortly after than and its creeped up as high as 842 now.  Just keep sending GW letters and yeah they will probably say no but 2023 will be here before you know it.
