Im waiting for EX to update my reports, IF they do. I had a stubborn collection removed from my Transunion and Equifax reports a couple weeks ago but its still showing on Experian. I got a 40+ point increase on my FICO 8 Transunion, and 20+ point increase with EQ, so im anxious to see a similar jump on my EX which is at 657 so that would bring it up to a "Good" rating.
There are a number of change types to a credit report that Experian only processes once per month, it could be that this is one of them that would likely be processed this Saturday.
There are other changes, that depending upon some specific circumstances, legally gives them either 30 calendar days or 45 calendar days to complete their investigation and then an additional 5 business days to notify you of the outcome.
In short, be sure to check your Experian report on Sunday to see if the entry has been updated or deleted.
Thanks for the info, Ill be on the look out as i am on a daily basis.
Those creditors or collectors should have made it clear to you that scores and/or reporting agencies will take up to 60 days to reflect these changes. It is rarely that long, but they should have given you that customary heads up.
