Got approved for NFCU Flagship $15k and kind of still in shock/disbelief as I've been rebuilding for 2 years and my highest card before this was $500. I called in and requested express shipping which they said would arrive tomorrow, but in my account when I click Activate a Credit Card it still says "You have no credit cards, click here to apply" and I have no new accounts on my account listings.
I know I'm being 100% paranoid, still in too much shock! but is it normal to not have any record of the new credit card in your NFCU accounts or settings? When should it show up?
Thank you!!!

Congrats!
No need to be Paranoid. Things will be just fine
My platinum did not show up until I received it, and it should take roughly 2 months to show up on your credit reports.
Thank you guys!!!
I've been rebuilding for 2 years and the largest card I had this whole time was $500. I just got approved for a $15k card and it's coming in tomorrow. Finally hitting the 700s is going to be life changing for me after years of having to go cash and carry. My laptop was stolen and it's been killing my business, plus I have some dental work that I need to do by the end of the year if I want to take advantage of my 2019 insurance benefits.
I can easily afford to pay this back over 12 months, and I am more than happy to pay the interest on that to get ahead with my business and health in 2020. But is there anyone watching how I use my card and going to shut me down for charging a few grand or posting a 30% balance in the first month? I am sooooo paranoid about doing anything to mess up this line of credit and I have no idea what's paranoia and what's the reality of a lender giving a rebuilder a chance like this. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you!
First congrats on the stellar SL and getting into the 700's. Honestly I don't think it will raise any red flags if you put 30% on the card in the first month. IMO it shows them that youre actually utilizing the card, as long as you don'tcarry over a 30% balance it shouldn't hurt your score either. I'm no expert, I'm still learning myself. Just be sure to pay down your balances and you'll be fine.
OP, congratulations on your rebuild! My first question would be is who is the card issuer? Some banks/CUs are more sensitive than others to a heavy spend pattern in the first month or two. As long as your other cards are at zero balances, I think you'll be fine.
Congrats on your approval, You may want to pay more than you minimum due each month.
