Re: How many Hard Pulls do you have on your CR's?

I am new to the boards and have been reading (borderline obsessing) the forums to learn as much as I can - I've learned so much from so many of you in such a short time.

Can someone clarify something for me?  How do you all have access to all three of your credit reports/FICO scores all at once?  Do you all have the FICO 3-in-1, or are you all enrolled with a credit monitoring service?

I've applied for and was approved for cards in the last week (my last app was actually this morning) but now I am paranoid about how many inquiries are on my report (just read that some CCs can triple HP you).  How quickly do these show up?  Is there a lag time from app  to reporting, or is it pretty much instant?

What is the most cost-effective way of gaining access to all three of these reports?  Assuming I pay a montly membership fee, do I have access to them as often as I want?

I'm nauseous thinking about what this may have done to my score.

Thank you in advance!

Re: How many Hard Pulls do you have on your CR's?

I have way too many after accumulating CLs exceeding 120k across 10 cards (excluding Amex pay over time limit).  Will be in the garden for the foreseeable future.

In my wallet: Cap1 Venture ($58k), Amex PRG (NPSL), Amex HH ($4K), Barclays Ring MC ($10K), Chase Sapphire Preferred ($22K), Chase SWA Visa Preferred ($7.5K), Chase United Mileage Explorer VS ($20k), Chase Marriott Rewards VS ($12K), BOA BBR MC ($41K), BOA Visa Sig Cash Rewards ($30K), Chase Ritz VS (9K), NFCU Flagship Visa ($55K), Discover It ($6K), Citi AA ($20K). Everything else in SD.

FICO goal: 800+ (as of 3-6-15: EQ FICO 774,,TU FICO 808, EX FICO 775)

Welcome to the forum!

You should check out this post: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Understanding-FICO-Scoring/Where-to-obtain-FREE-monthly-FICO-scores/m-p/2555469#M75232

It details where to get free  FICO scores and the various scores.

Whereas inquiries do count against your FICO score, they only do so for one year and only remain on your report for two years. You can go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get all three reports(no score) free once a year. Count and track them from your reports. I would not recommend getting these until your app and CLI spree is done. You can also get ongoing info free of charge from creditkarma.com (TU) creditseasame.com (EX) and quizzle.com (EQ). They each have their own way of doing things. Creditkarma.com for instance keeps track of your two year total but not your one year total, which I see is more important. However, once you have an account with them they give free alerts with date and puller so you can add them ongoing to your list from your free annual report.

I hope this helps.
