I always read you should have 5 or less. I'm just getting into the credit building game (I have good credit, but want to boost my scores) so all my inq's are >1yr old but within 2 years I have 5 on EQ and 2 on the others. For some reason my auto loan beat up EQ with multiple pulls. At any rate, I feel like I need to go on an apping spree or something the way some of your totals are, haha!
I think inquiries are 'low impact', correct me if I'm wrong. If a person wants a big credit portfolio there is no getting around it and I'm sure the CC's are seeing more of this with consumers. If you have 25 on each CB, that may be a problem..
I've managed to rack up over 20 total since rebuilding started last summer but was approved for Freedom & QS Visa in the past 8 days.
I don't like having them & I hate the fact they hang around for 2 years...like a bad 'virus.'
Too bad you can't GW inqs.
The good thing is they will fall off about the same time and after 6 months they have less of an impact.
TU- 5 EX- 8 EQ- 24 (Auto loan tore me up)
Equifax- 13 (8 from a mortgage company)
Transunion-16 (8 from a mortgage company)
Experian- 14 (8 from a mortgage company)
Most are from this year from July to present. I'm certainly in the garden for a while.
55+ inquiries on each of the three. meh
Edit: I frontloaded all my pulls, so that I now have a card from each credit card company. Just waiting for them to fall off. 100K+ credit line total. 750 FICO scores.
Ex: 9 Eq: 3 Tu: 4
Not sure when dropping off: 9 on TU (so not asking cli nor Apr reduction on CU card), 6 EQ, and 4 EX. 19 total, a few be gone by summer. For Fico scoring, total 12 inquiries (the 3b report does not show all inquiries, boo).
I have 11 inquiries on each credit report.
EQ: 1
TU: 5 (thanks to Synchrony and Barclays)
EX: 3
The EQ, a couple of EX and 3 of the TU's should be falling off after December. After the first of the year I'll 'create' at least 1 more on TU (Amazon) and EQ (Discover) then wait it out to reach 2 years with Chase in October.

I think I'm gonna app for a few more before the end of April, once we hit May I'm in the garden indefinitely. I figure there's not much difference between mid to high teens and 20 or so, so I might as well see what I can get over the next few days.
Here's part of my nerdy excel spreadsheet where I keep track of everything..
I really like that!
