So...gardening. The joy of not applying for anything for a long time. How do yall do it? I want to get to the point of only applying 1-2/year. I want to be self-disciplined in this area...help.
What do you do to help yourself garden?
freeze your reports and remove your auto-login/saved password from your computer/phone/PW manager to the websites to unfreeze.
On top of that, please ensure the password manager is open-source software and that all the passwords are encrypted and authenticated from the cloud. Also, sign up for "have I been pwned" to see whether any of the services you use got breached. But at the same time, the more security you add, the less convenience you will have. That's just how security works. You can always play around with different options and access your needs.

It does get easier with time and practice.
Setting a firm goal, whatever that is for you, really helped me as I started out.
For some, it's a mortgage refinance, for some, it's a specific card with strict new account requirements, for some, it's simply a matter of pride. DW and I will both reach Gold spade status later this month, and I can see when she'll leave the garden, but my end date is unclear at the moment. It will happen tho.
Good luck!

These are great tips I actually make sure people know. I work in I.T. so I'm often echoing security practices! Thanks so much!
