Woohoo 800 club! Had to get a screenshot, since I'm sure it will be short lived when my new accounts and AAoA changes hit. Aw well, six months in the garden should have me back again.
Congrats! I bet that feels good

Great news....Awesome.....Congrats.....
Congrats....feels and looks nice ...just said good bye again myself due to the new cards reporting ....hopefully back in 6-8 months
Thanks, yes it's a nice thing to wake up to
I know,, kinda bittersweet to see it slip away, but what's a good FICO for if not to get the credit we want? I'd rather be using it than saving a good score but getting nothing useful from it
Congratulations! It must be a pretty awesome feeling!

Congrats!!! You are so stoic about not keeping it. I hit 800 & now dread what will happen when I finally find a house & take out a new mortgage. Everytime I charge, I send the payment for the charge amount. I really have got to develop your attitude. You are an inspiration. Congrats again.

Thanks! For me as I wrote above, it's just keeping perspective about what FICO is good for. It's not any good in itself, except to get the credit (and things with it) we want. Within 6 months or so your mortgage should allow your score to go even higher.. Since no mortgage is one factor keeping mine 'down.' Also from creditors' perspective, 780 is as good as 800. Even 720 sometimes is. So wanting 800 is more personal than practical.

Thank you for that. Logically I know you're absolutely right. What's so weird is that I just started caring about my score 2 months ago & now improving it is like an addiction.
