how many inq's are on each of your cr's?

tu on myfico it says that 4 inq's are affecting my score

exp - it says 5 inqs are affecting my score - now 6 with the wamu

Don't give up!  You've done a good job in cleaning up your file!   Does your husband have any good old TL's that he could add you as an AU to?   It sounds like they are rejecting you for not having much history instead of your scores.  I know they won't include AU's after Sept, but for now it might do what you need it to do.

the only open cc my husband has is the cap1 and I'm already an au.

Now there's a wonderful solution!  AU!  If that isn't an option, maybe a for sure BOA 99/500, just for the history?  $50 to open an account with BOA for the 99/500 seems worth it to me.  Or maybe take a tour through WhoGaveMeCredit, for your state, and focus on the EQ pulls, since you have 0 inquiries with EQ.  Just thoughts.  I know it's frustrating.

I know it's hard to ask but sometime's it worth it to swallow the pride and ask, maybe a parent or a sibling to add you even if it's just for a few months.   Anyone else that might be able to help?

let me take that back. he has a macy's card that isn't old but it has a 0 balance. we used it to buy furniture and then paid it off but the account is still open. when I was looking at the report last night I saw a gap card that looks like it's still open even though he called to close it, this is about 7 years old - wait I'm looking at his cr now - he has a kays card from 1994 that says open never late -should I have him add me to that?
