I just checked my Walmart Fico and have my first 700!

A credit score that starts with a 7 is the reward for good behavior that some of us get in here. It might not turn heads at a cocktail party but among us FICO geeks it does impress. Now the goal is continued good behavior so we don't go back to bad credit purgatory.

Ugh, i just checked my EQ today and was a bit dissapointed, 699! So close! My UTI overall is 9% but I am still holding a 40% on my kay card becuase of a 0%. I guess there is room for improvment. That and i mistakenly let some cards report, 5 cards with balances 3 were under $20.

Congrats! ...and yes there is room. On EQ Fico I lost 40+ points (793 to 738) for reporting 8 out of 8 accounts (now 5 out of 8) with a small balance. I was just playing and testing my new SW subscription ... interesting behavior of Fico and a good lesson. Now try to get it back up by paying to 0 for 7 out of 8 accounts and we will see next month....LOL
