I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

I am waiting for the last of my derog to be deleted.  The creditor submitted the Universal Data Form on June 25 to delete the tradeline.  Experian who is the worse of the 4 CRAs deleted the tradeline the same day.  Why is it taking so long for TU to do the same?

Legally the CRA has up to 45 days to update your account.

I understand that.  When I called TU they said they are waiting for a response from the creditor.  The creditor submitted the UDF the next day the dispute was made.  Hopefully tomorrow when I check the status it will be gone and I can finally order my TU FICO.

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

I am having a similar problem. Be patient, it will update. Im my own case EX delete the CA immediately, EQ followed the next day ( 6/28/2009) and TU is yet to update and I'm also waiting.

My guess is that the collection will be deleted as soon as one of your creditor update any account on your TU credit file. I'm not totally sure about this, but I guess one of my EQ account reported a balance update and the CA was gone on the same day.

Keep us inform when you get the update. My EQ went from 633 to 715 with 7 years oldest account, 3 years AAoA and 18% UT.

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

I'll keep you updated.  I'm hoping my TU FICO be near 750 or more after the deletion.  That is my only adverse account.

Great,

750 will be sweet. If you don't mind, how old is your  oldest account, AAoA and UT?

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

My oldest account on my TU and Ex reports is a paid student loan that was opened in 1999.  Equifax deleted the account leaving me with a shorter credit history. I keep my credit card UT  under 2%.

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

Why did EQ delete your old account? Were you using a Credit monitoring service that you pull daily or every now and then? I'm trying to understand why this problem is coming from EQ. Please let us know what was the issue.

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

I'm not sure why my oldest account got deleted.  I sent the loan agency who is still listing the loan, and advised them of the situation. Hopefully they get it added back on.  I wasn't using any credit monitoring services.  The account was sold.  Thay may have had something to do with it.

Re: I'm getting impatient with TransUnion

All my Accounts are now clear. TU delete the collection this morning. My TU FICO is 719. This could have been easily 740 if not for the high UT of 38% and AAoA is still 3 yrs old because one my recent installement account is in duplicate and is lowering the AAoA.

My normal AAoA should have been 4 years. DI let us know your status.
