If anyone's interested- checking credit bureau reports

   I just found out that Telecheck, SCAN, and Chexsystems are following with the free annual credit report disclosures.  Might be worth a look to some of us.

   For Telechek: call 1-800-Telecheck between 7am-9pm

   For Chexsystems and SCAN: Go to https://www.consumerdebit.com/consumerinfo/us/en/freereport.htm

I just ordered Chexsystems last week and received it pretty quickly via mail. It is something everyone should pull if they are planning to apply for a new bank acct or a new CC via a CU.

Either Teletrack or Telecheck, you have to give them any bank account # you've ever had and if anything is on your report under a different bank account # then you give them, they won't send that part.

I don't remember my bank account # from before I was married and have long since disposed of all those records.

But  is their inquiry linked to our Credit Reports?  Id hate to  do it then see a hard inquiry if it is linked.....

They are basically their own CRA from my understanding.  They follow with the FACTA laws for free annual reporting disclosures.
