How does anyone know they are already "suppose" to have gotten their check? I remember reading that issuing all the payments is going to take 3-4 months. Last payments will be going out in late July.

Go to the IRS website and there is a payment schedule and it has it broken down by groups of last 2 digits of SS#, then it will say your payment will be mailed BY XXXXXX date.

After that XXXX date it is showing, you can use the "Where is my stimilus payment" feature.

Re: Inevitable 'Didn't Get' EPS thread

I haven't gotten mine yet and it seems to tell me when I should:
Your total Stimulus payment was calculated as $600.00 and consists of the following:

* Basic Amount: $600.00.
* Qualifying Child Amount: $0.00 (Based on 0 qualifying children).

Your payment of $600.00 is scheduled to be deposited to your bank on May 6, 2008. If you do not receive the credit by May 11, 2008, please contact us again. We are unable to take any action until then.

It is showing for myself now as well.

I tried it the day they first put it up and it wouldn't work and I assumed it was for this reason:

A new, interactive, online tool, called Where’s My Stimulus Payment?, is now available for you to check the amount and status of your economic stimulus payment. However, please wait to use this tool until on or after the scheduled date of your payment as listed in the schedule (link above), since your payment information will not be available on the tool until that time.

Mine isn't due to be mailed until May 16th and is showing. So, maybe they have changed it.

Re: Inevitable 'Didn't Get' EPS thread

I think its pretty absolute now. I qualified in every way to get 600 the first week. I just didn't get it. I'm not sure what route I'll have to take from here.

Re: Inevitable 'Didn't Get' EPS thread

Didn't the estimator have some information on it about how to contact them if you haven't received your refund by 5 days after their estimated time of delivery?

There is a number that will show up after you complete that and it will give you a number and a reference code to call and check on your payment.

When did you file your taxes? You had to file in enough time for them to be PROCESSED BY April 15th in order for your payment to go out by the schedule.

Re: Inevitable 'Didn't Get' EPS thread

Ah. "Where's My Stimulus Payment". I didn't understand Estimator.
I've been there mumerous times. After I input my 3 lines of information it just goes dumb on me. It tells me no information is available for me.
I just can't figure out what happened but from all I read, the IRS plans to start answering quetions next week some time. I'm sure I'm not the only qualified person whos funds are AWOL.

To add: Yeah. No number/nothing. Just "We are sorry"
I sent a paper filing by mail on or about March 1. My forms had provisions asking for specific information regarding direct deposit for the Economic Stimulus rebate. My SS is 1X. My check was processed March 15 with BoA.
I qualify on every front for direct deposit on the first week. I didn't get it and the provided link is idle. I don't know what direction I'm going to take. I'm sure I'll find a way to clear this up. I can't be the only person. Anyway, I'm not hurting for the money so I have time....thank goodness.
Thank you for the help!
