Inquiries

logged in Credit Karma and noticed that i had 11 inquiries and all with the same date! should i look into this or is Credit Karma just dumb? the inquiries are correct but not the dates on them. a fre are showing duplicate inquiries.

You say that the inquiries are all correct, but that some may be duplicates.  Both things cannot be true.  If all 11 inquiries did occur as separate legitimate inquiries, then none of them is a duplicate of the other.  Can you clarify?

If the dates on the inquries were correct, would they be spread over a long period of time?  Like a year or more?  Since they all appear right now with the same date, what is the date in question?  If it is over a year ago, that's good for you, since even if it is an error it means that the inquiries will have no effect on your FICO score.

Since you are using Karma, the report must be drawn on EQ or TU.  Which one?  If it is TU, you can join WalletHub and see whether you see the same issue.  If not, I'd assume that Karma is just having problems and try giving Karma 3-4 weeks to fix it.

At some point you can try pulling your report from AnnualCreditReport.com -- that's the gold standard for finding out what your report really says.

I had the same issue today - all my inquiries showed up as if they were done today  Of course, my first thought was - What?  I finally have good credit and its getting hijacked?!?!  LOL - called Transunion and they have the correct dates on their end (also said call volume was unusually high), so I am thinking entry/coding error behind the scenes.

I think it was a temporary issue with CK. I saw that a few days ago, but my inquiries are showing correctly now:

Yup.  I thought it might be a temporary blip.  Good to know it was resolved.

I stand somewhat corrected. CK is showing different data depending on which page you visit. My first post was to go to the dashboard and view score details. However, if I go to Credit Factors and look under hard inquiries, I see this still:

It looks like it comes down to "Inquiry" vs. "Last Reported" - one page shows the inquiry and one page shows the last time EQ saw it. A bit confusing, but now I know how to navigate it.

I'm not sure how to see my true HP dates on CK. No matter which route I go I see the last reported date, which is 6-13. What exact path are you following to see the actual HP date?

Under dashboard, click on "view score details" for either TU or EQ, then scroll down on the new page to the Hard Inquiries section. Do not click on Hard Inquiries at the top.

when i meant duplicates is  like Frico Chrysler and Intouch Credit Union showing up more than once on there since on my FICO (Amazon, BoA) they show up once on there.
