Is Capital One drunk or am I missing something?

I did AZE0 last month to see some score changes because we are in the mortgage process..

I have 2 CapOne QS cards: both were $1200 CL.

I asked for a CLI and got one raised to $1600 and for the other card it was denied, the letter said my revolving accounts are maxed out (they weren't even before I paid them all to $0) in comparison to my income, and that my score is 508 according to EQ.

I had a MF update of scores today and all my scores Fico8 are above 640, my EQ is the lowest at 641. Even looking at the bankard scores I don't have any scores in the 500's

Any idea where CapOne could be getting this info?

Starting score May 2015 500's across the boards
Now - 610 EQ 598 TU 597 EX

From months ago? It has been reported that cap1 can use scores from SP done months ago (I think it is believed they update their scores for you once a quarter but I could be wrong on the exact time frame)

Maybe it's EQ5 score? From my understanding, Capital One may not pull the latest report. They may be using your old report from months ago.

So they're drunk 😂.. it is decided!

that would make sense although it's hard to believe I had a score of 508 at some point and they're just too lazy to pull it again.

Capital One is usually using EQ FICO 5.

That raises a question, do lenders have to pay each time they request a credit report/score, or do they have some kind of subscription and not pay by transaction? If the former, I could see why they might skip getting a current score.

Scores: March 21 FICO 8: EX 810, TU 808, EQ 813
AoOA: closed: 40 years, open: 30 years; AAoA: 14 years
Amex Gold, Amex Blue, Amex ED, Amex Delta Blue, Amex Hilton Surpass, BoA Platinum Plus, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Amazon, Chase CSP, Chase United Explorer, Citi AA, Sync Lowes, total CL 203k

Cap one soft pulls every  month just like any other lender, but they do AR every four months.

You can easily recognize those on your CR because  they state Account Review.

Score from AR is used in decision making for four months till new AR is done.

It is EQ 5.
