Is there a program that allows excellent rental history to show on your Credit Report

Hi

I wonder is there a way that excellent rental history can show on your credit report as well as utility bills?

Not as far as I know, I am afraid.  It is like utilities, cable, etc - most of them only show baddies, not goodies
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

There is something new that FICO is coming out with, though, specifically for those who don't have standard sources of credit history. My brain has completely packed it in ('tis the season), but I'm hoping someone else will come along and help out.

Not at this time, however there is a new CRA called "Rent Bureau." All they do is collect information on rental history while participating landlords report. There not too big right now but they are definitely working hard on obtainin landlords to participate. There doing a good job at it so far.

You could also look into PRBC, "Payment Reporting Builds Credit."  I have nothing to offer about them other than the fact that they exist in terms of usefulness or reliability, I've heard third hand that it worked for somone, for the little bit that's worth.  It looks like they charge a fee to verify your payments (~$60) but they can verify a couple years into the past, so my reccomendation on these guys would be to check with whoever you'd like to consider the information (mortgage lender, etc.) and if they will accept a report from PRBC, consider paying for the verification and letting them pull the report.

Hope that helps!

OK, I found this:

News Release: FICO Expansion Score

--and it mentions how it is working with PRBC.

I don't know if very many landlords, etc. are working with this program, so it might not help specific, individual cases.
