Is this a file split?

I pulled a full Equifax this morning and looking through it, nothing has changed at all compared to others 

Skimming through it, I seen this trying to figure out maybe why.

Formerly Known As: JAMES *****

My name is James, not jimmy. Would this likely cause where it cant be Reported and not updating?

If so, when I do get it corrected. Will the proper scores and everything be updated?

Equifax is famous for this type of thing. As long as all the reported account information is correct you're good. It's fairly common for "aliases" to be listed on reports. 

You should really refrain from publishing your identity/full name in posts for privacy and security reasons.

Well, I called them about 30 minutes ago and they changed my name. And looking through the report, several things haven't been updated, one being my car payment for almost 3 months.

Today, my Equfiax through myfico showed my name change increased my points by 8. Not sure why, but I will take it!
