Items Deleted by CRA, now a question.

I just received some great news from Equifax. They are deleting 2 collections from my report. They stated "this item has been deleted". However, I do not have an alert from Scorewatch. How long should it take for it to be deleted? Their wording sounds like it already has been.
Also, TU and EX investigated and found them to be valid. Would it help to ask for a re-investigation and send them this letter where EQ is deleting or is that a waste of time?
Thanks for any answers.

Thanks. How long should it take to update on my report? I am confused that their wording says "this item has been deleted" and yet I have no alert from Scorewatch.

It sometimes takes a few days for things to percolate through to SW. Grit your teeth and hold on --it will be cheaper to buy your shiny new score if you got the alert first! Smiley Very Happy

Thanks. I can hardly wait to see how much this will boost my score but I will wait on my alert.

Re: Items Deleted by CRA, now a question.

You should get a free copy of your report once all items have been investigated. If you have to know right away, try pulling your report. From my experience with EQ, I disputed directly online. They did not show any results before all items were fully investigated. Once everything was looked over, EQ sent me an e-mail with the results and sent also a free copy of the report.

My SW only catches about 30% of what happens to EQ and they only have caught about half of my score changes (I pull twice a month on all 3). The change is probably already on your report; maybe SW never caught it.

Pulled my EQ report and the 2 collections are gone. My score went up 2 POINTS. What they heck. These collections were not old ones.

Re: Items Deleted by CRA, now a question.

Do you still have any other collections or serious baddies out there?
