July 1st public record removal results

Nothing changed in my report. Still have the old state tax lien on two bureaus. Curious if anyone saw any changes today?

Re: July 1st public record removal results

I had a 13 pt increase, but I don't think my increase is related to tax lien because tax lien is still listed. Now, UT dropped from 5% to 4% and 3 CCs crossed the 1yr threshhold so I'm thinking that caused the bump in score.

Maybe since it's the weekend, it will be deleted from CRs on Monday or no later than Wednesday, since Tuesday is July 5th.

Re: July 1st public record removal results

I've read several articles that state the Judgements and Tax liens will start to be removed the week of July 9, 2017.

Re: July 1st public record removal results

Lets clarify something before a lot of folks get too excited.....

The Tax liens will only be deleted if they can't verify them with correct identity markers. Name, SSN, address, etc.. they have to meet 3 qualifying identity markers to stay put, if not, they will be deleted. Its not set in stone that ALL tax liens will be deleted, thats not true. If they meet the requirements of identification, they stay.

I think a lot of folks are going to be disappointed....me included, because I checked my EQ and TU reports for the markers, and mine all match, and can be easily verified darn it, lol..

EX never reported it, or picked it up years ago, but Ive been trying to get it deleted for 3 years now from EQ and TU with No luck .

Ill be anxious to see the reports here on fico though if anyone got theirs deleted though in the next few weeks. Smiley Happy

Re: July 1st public record removal results

How does this work if the tax lien/judgment was an error? We were going to be applying for a mortgage again, because the first time applied 3 years ago it was reported. Honedtly, for people like myself, this is grest because we were about to hire a lawyer and still may due the damages we incurred for years for something that did not belong to us. I don't think a little 15 point increase will be good enough considering how it dinged my scores at the time.
