Juniper Card

Where do I go to apply for a Juniper card? Will they approve me w/ a BK form 03 and a TU score of 615?

Re: Juniper Card

Good question.  I went to the site and it appears to be for people who have already been approved for credit cards.

I'm not sure I would bother if I was you.  My BK was in 2001, and I had already received a Cap One card and had scores in the high 600s when I applied for a Juniper card. I got the card, but it has a $300 CL and a very high APR.  Shortly after getting that card, I went to Orchard bank and did way better.  HSBC has given me three cards within a couple months.  All with good CLs and really decent terms. My Discover has a $7000 CL which really helps me keep my utilization low when I use a card for a big purchase like this years vacation.

Re: Juniper Card

Thanks. Did you get approved for your Discover after your BK? What were your scores, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, I did get it after my BK, but it has been 6 years since the BK. My scores were in the low 700s (high 600's) when I got that card (699-726). I was one of those people who never tried to fix up my CR after the BK, figuring I would just take my lumps. I just started being proactive within this past year. Read some of my other threads if you want to learn from my many mistakes.  I have had some real success stories as well over the past couple months.

That's a pretty good link. They seem to have a TON of partners. Mine is an Apple card, but they aren't listed on that page.  I only used the card a couple times, and now, IF I use it at all, it is paid off in full when the bill comes. Can't stand those 20%+ rates.

Re: Juniper Card

I was approved for an Airtran Airways Platinum card with a TU score of 604 and a BK from 1998. Ive also talked to there CSR's and they are very helpful and friendly, unlike some of the starter card people. No annual fee and 0% APR on balance transfers.

Re: Juniper Card

I just applied and they said they need more time to review my information....grrr. I know that generally means a big NO!
