I have had a Juniper card for 18 months-never missed

a payment. Initial rate 7.9----then when I had to use it for

business and it was near limit-not ordered magazine and

another item not authorized made it go over my credit limit.

I immediately made payment and they raised my interest

rate to 20 %  and added over limit fees! 

The nightmare gets worse in dealing with oversea agents.

Be forewarned!  Any advice?

Hi, petunias, and welcome to the forums! Sorry it's under these circumstances.

Since both charges were unauthorized, I'd call and ask that they take off the over-limit penalties (APR jump, etc.) Check the "backdoor numbers" thread stickied on the Credit Cards board to see if there's a Juniper number that will get you past the first-line reps.

Is your CL on the low side? This sounds like an excellent reason to pay online multiple times during the month, so that you have a bit of a cushion from unpleasant surprises like this.
