I suggest you change "These were not authorized" to "These were not authorized by Mr. X" so it's clear that you (the customer) did not give permission.
 
As other posters stated, multiple car inquiries in a 2-week period count as one inq, and there's no need to send the letter to the CRAs.

A large number of lenders are no longer with us. This has caused in some instances a backlog with other lenders to get files approved. What was 24 - 48 hours for approval can now be as long as 5 days. I would be concerned with lack of response from the loan officer.

On June 1, 2007 at 4:15pm - he responded with an approval.  Yeah!!!
