Mortgage score non transparency and wtheck.

So I thought I'd call Tu...ask when they updated the mtg score as it hasn't moved in months despite a 37 point increase in less than 2 months.  Told them what u see for my fico 2, 4 & 5.

He proceeded to tell me it was much higher than what I was seeing thru here and to call fico and gave me the number, which was to my fico.

My fic sees my mrtg  scores as I do but tu days it's higher.

Why is this?  Tu said it updated the last 3 months.

assuming you have a premier plan, you will get an update to your mortgage scores every month when you elect to take your 3-buerau pull, it won't update throughout the month like your FICO 8 will

you can also purchase a one-time report pull which should update all scores including the mortgage scores

through Experian's paid plan, or free trial, you can see updates to your Experian FICO mortgage score

the things that change FICO 8 scores may not change your FICO mortgage scores, it would take a detailed understanding of your profile and tradelines to see if and why you're not seeing changes

Different credit reporting agencies (such as Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) may provide slightly different credit scores based on the data they have on your credit history.

Different credit bureaus (including three major ones: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax) may give you different credit scores according to their requirements.

1. TU doesn't update your scores. They just update your data.

2.  When someone pulls your data and applies the FICO 4 scoring model to it, then they will get an updated TU FICO 4 score.

3.  The only way I know of to find that score is to pull a TU report from MyFICO, and you will then get all your TU scores updated.

4.  If you want to get all 3 of your updated mortgage scores, you need to pull a 3-bureau report from MyFICO.

Unfortunately MyFICO charges a fortune for these things.

For a better deal you can sign up for Credit.com's premium "Extra Credit" plan.   It gives all 28 FICO scores from all three bureaus and it's a free trial for 7 days and you can cancel at any time.   You can get all your FICO scores and cancel right away.   Works great,.

Interesting, it seems to be basically the same as MyFICO's monthly service, and costs less.
