Multi names on my reports ?

I recently have been going threw my credit reports and noticed on many of them there are like 5 or more versions of my name ( spelled in many ways)

My question is can these be removed , fixed or corrected and if so how much effect on my overall score would this be?

Also I'm in the dispute / correction phase , based on the above should I ( if I can) dispute or fix names first or dispute other accounts first , as in will it make it easier or harder to removed account with multi incorrect names in my credit report account?

IMO, the only name that is important is the name listed at the front of the CR. All others have no impact on your score, your report, or your chances of credit approval in the future. I wouldn't sweat it.

If you really wanted it changed you'd have to dispute it with the CRAs. You'd have to include info they ask for and they may be able to remove it. There are some who have tried and had issues because that name was associated with an active account, though they will tell you which names would be a problem at the conclusion of the dispute.

BTW, I am looking at EX right now and see 6 variations of my name. Three are correct with first and last, first and last with middle initial, and first and last with my middle name. Three are wrong with one having the wrong middle initial. One other botched last name. And the last one has my first name as my last name and my last name as my first name.

This incorrect name and address foolishness more times than not comes from the creditor that has been quite careless in their data integrity.

Yeah, it is because people have incorrectly entered it.

I have had success with asking the CRA's to delete the incorrect information.

It looks cleaner when people pull your credit and it eliminates any concerns about false identities or moving around too much.

Ok so this situation is  nothing major to be concerned with (Someone else attached to my credit  , using my credit file, ect, (or companies thinking I'm a fraudster )?

If the name is nowhere close to your name, then I would be concerned, but if your name is Looking4help2009 and it says Looking5help2009 or Lookingforhelp2009, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you have nothing else to repair on your credit reports.
