My Scores for 2007!

First, let me say I love this board.  I just can't seem to sign off today.  I just finished a spreadsheet of all my score watch alerts for this year (well, it ain't over yet, just wanted to get a true credit high today).  My credit stinks something bad and I decided at the young age of 47 it was time to take a look and start enjoying more approves than rejections.  I started out on 2/2007 with a score of 533 and as of today I am looking at 588.  During the months between Feb and Dec I have experiences ups and downs - In all I have gained 104pts and lost 67pts during those months I listed (FEB-DEC).  Yes, I am so happy about my eagerness and like I said I love this board.  I am not look to reach the 700 club anytime to soon, however, look out 600 club here I come.  I must admit, I have made some poor choices along my way and I am just crawling right now but, I plan to get it right and stay right with patience and control of my debt decisions and GW, DV and Disputes. Love you all.

Re: My Scores for 2007!

Absolutely, 2008 will be an awesome year FICO-Wise!

I believe it was Dr. Phil who said to allow your mistakes to become a learning process.  Thanks to this forum, a lot of us are clearing up our baddies and are becoming more financially responsible.

In 3 short weeks, my score has gone up around 60 points.  600 club is right around the corner, I can smell it.  Next Stop:  700!

Re: My Scores for 2007!

Congrats to you guys on your FICO/fiscal improvements. I hope to get to 700 & beyond in 2008. I just took on a new auto loan early this month. I'm eager to see how my score is affected when I check in a few days if it has reported by now. With everyone's help on this forum we can all achieve 700's one day! Smiley Happy

Re: My Scores for 2007!

Congrats to you in reaching those scores. I am sure if you follow good practices, you'll in the 700 club soon. Mid 2007 I started with 554 now I have 691 and looking to reach 700 early next year. You can do it and join the 700 club soon. Keep up your efforts....

Take it all in stride.  mistakes happen. You will be fine, With your dedication I kinda disagree with you in one issue. You will eventually make the 700 club by end of 08. I strongly feel your devotion to get it together like I did. GL and best of wishes in the new year.

I DO NOT KNOW REGARDING DR. PHIL, BUT THERE IS VERY OLD RUSSIAN SAYING "WISE MAN LEARNS FROM HIS OWN MISTAKES". BTW, WHO IS DR. PHIL?
