Have they tried billing you for a full monthly membership yet?  If that happens, simply reference for them your cancellation email(s) and they'll give you a prompt refund.

Oh I don't care about getting a refund. I do use the account I just didn't want any future charges so I think I'll be fine with the prepaid card on there. Still got a few weeks left on this month.

Yeah, this number lead me to an hour wait time.. I didn’t wait because I had already been on hold with them, earlier in the day, to cancel my account.

When I do the automated, it says I’m not enrolled, but they definitely just charged me.

For those of you that are saying that the number this thread references is providing you with a 1 hour wait time, please call one of the other 2 more common numbers are report back what the quoted wait time is there.  If you hear wait time is "greater than 2 hours" at the other 2 numbers, while still ridiculously excessive it would mean that the wait time is half from the number provided in this thread.  When I was getting quotes of 5-7 minutes from the number in this thread, quote times on the other numbers were always in the 30-60 minute range.

Another data point to add.  I used the number provided in the first post of this thread at 4:45PM Eastern time today and there was literally ZERO wait time; the phone rang and was instantly picked up by a CSR.  For S&Gs after cancelling, I tried calling the main CCT number and alternate number and both quoted a wait time of "greater than 1 hour and 30 minutes."

It’s very fraudulant of them to make a phone call or email the only way to cancel. No one does this anymore, it’s too slow. Unless their point is to make you want to just quit trying to cancel. I bet you they have made their fair share of $29.95’s using this tactic.

I don't know that I'd go that far.  What do you suggest, just an online-only form?  An email only takes 1-2 minutes to type up and fire off, so I wouldn't say that's "too slow."

The number lead me to an automated "woman" who could not recognize me speaking or using the keypad to submit my SSN. I called twice...it seemed like a deliberate fake out.

Then I called number 877-284-7942 as seen on the website. After supplying SSN and zip code when prompted, I was transferred directly to someone who cancelled my trial membership. No wait time on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 12:10pm EST. Maybe I got super lucky.

Me too. I've cancelled 3x in the last month and had no waits using the number advertized on the website. YMMV, I guess.
