NFCU Problem...Anyone Else?

This concerns Balance Transfers.

Lately whenever I attempt a Balance Transfer I get this message online then I have to call in and have the CR do it for me.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do to get it to work, if you did.

Hopefully someone has some insight.

I've never seen this error before, not sure what it means.  In the past few years I've had one or two NFCU balance transfers completed online and never had an issue.   Glad they were able to do it over the phone for you.

I've experienced it many times.

Possible reasons: another balance transfer to same lender in same day, going over limit, going over available balance for transfers.

@SouthJamaica  None of those reasons apply BT not to same lender, not going over limit or available balance for transfers.

I read somewhere it could be a browser issue and to clear cookies and cache which I did and same problem exists.

So tried with my Nephews completely different computer and a different browser and still the same thing.

SMH on this issue which started happening last few months. I hate having to call in to have it done but at least that does work.

For the reasons you stated that caused you to have the problem what did you do to eliminate it?

Eventually when I get caught back up from the flooding I can put the BTs to rest and it won't matter but that will take a few months.

The only one I had was the first -- 2 balance transfers to same lender in same day. Way I discovered it was by calling in and talking to customer service. So your best bet is to talk to them and ask why it happened. Sooner or later you'll find someone who can answer the question.
