Yet another reporting delay post...
I finally had another card closed with the limit moved to my Flagship and of course for the first time they are slow in reporting to the CRA's. It has always been the 13th or 14th and the statement cut on the 13th. I am awaiting what that does to my FICO's as I have an app planned and was hoping that my reports reflected a $61k CL with a $7 balance... Looking for my first Chase personal card and just became 0/24 today for the first time ever.
I lost $33k in available CL when my closed cashback card reported right on time earlier this month but that really didn't change my FICO's...
As a side note, my Amazon store card has yet to report with a 0% balance and that always reports on the 15th... Strange.
When I had the More Rewards. It was on time most of the time after statement cut . Few months was like whenever we get around to it.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
An Update: My Flagship never reported to Experian this month. It has always reported on the 13th. As a side note, the DW's Flagship did not report there either. Both the DW's and my Flagship had combined limits that reported to EQ and TU with a slight delay. Both of our closed (donor cards) cards reported to all three as closed and all other NFCU accounts reported as normal on their expected dates. It seems not coincidental to have both Flagships not report on EX after their limits had doubled through combining limits. I have been itching to see that EX score rise from paying off a $13k balance and showing the new limit.
My experience with any reporting has been 3-4 business days after statement cut.

18 days on my Flagship so far... It sucks as from prior scoring experience with EX, it should be my highest score after that large balance is reported as paid along with the higher overall limit.
Finally reported, 24 days later than always...
It does seem like if I've ever been late, the bank couldn't wait to report it, but if I've paid something off, they take their sweet time about it.
Probably just a matter of perception but it does seem to work that way.

I know this is an old thread but instead of creating a dupe thread....
I've never really watched my report changes right after my statement cutoff dates on Navy cards until now. I paid a big chunk off on my Platinum and statement cut is always on the 11th. Not reported last statement balance yet and it's the 14th. Granted today (Oct 14th 2024) is a National Holiday and the statement cut was on a Friday. You would think computers talk to each other whether it's the weekend or a holiday ot maybe it's always been delayed and I just didn't notice. But the reporting date on Experian matched the last statement cut. I would assume reporting date is indicating what day the data is being reported from and receipt and processing of the data at the credit bureau could be a later date.
