Re: NavyFed Changed

for those of us who have NavyFed accounts, every month we've been able  to view our monthly FICO 8 equifax score but now with their new dashboard, they've changed to ADVANTAGE SCORE visibility, any spectulation on why they may have changed?  if we apply for a product today, they wouldn't use that score anyway, far as I know they use FICO scores

Nice dashboard though!  Smiley Happy

Received a denial letter from Navy for an application submitted 12/07/21.  It cited Transunion "CreditVision*Link" score as the one used in their decision. No mention of Fico score or internal Navy score.  Not sure if they are now using this trended data score or not.  Haven't seen anyone else mention it in the forum.

Re: NFCU New Credit Dashboard

I thought the same thing at first but it still shows my FICO 9 when I click on my credit card account in the iOS App. The Vantage 3.0 score is accessible from the dashboard screen. Hopefully they continue to keep the free FICO 9 Score.

Re: NFCU New Credit Dashboard

I noticed the same thing this morning! It switched to Transunion's vantage score. Nobody wants to see that over their FICO score.

Re: NFCU New Credit Dashboard

Today I got an email that looks legit but I'm concerned it's spam. It was sent from:

transunion@em-tuci.transunion.com With the subject line mission credit confidence...(it was a wordy subject line and forgot what it said and I deleted the mash) and the body of the message mentioned navy mission credit confidence and "no major changes to report" but with a link to show me my current score. I never signed up for this service and I don't like that (if this is a legit email) that is is not coming form Nfcu. I don't want transunion emailing me. Or a fake company trying to scam me.

Did anyone else get this email? Is it legit? The sender @Anonymous-tuci.transunion.com seems scammy to me.

Re: NFCU New Credit Dashboard

The TransUnion Vantage 3.0 score is for members WITHOUT credit cards to have some insight on their credit profile.  Members with credit cards will continue to receive the FICO 9 based on Equifax data to my understanding.

Re: NFCU New Credit Dashboard

I do have a cc with them. And still have access to the real fico score.

main concern is the email. Makes me wonder if Nfcu knows that they gave transunion my email address without my permission. Or if Nfcu itself got hacked (not my accounts but the actual company of navy federal)and they haven't revealed to us yet that they been hacked so a fake company trying to look like it's a legit email from transunion.

did you get this email?
