Dang...that or military ID was the first thing they asked me for when I went in to a branch to open some accounts.  Wouldn't even look at my license or anything else until valid service related ID was furnished.  Not that it was a problem - I took my 214 and Veteran's ID with me as I assumned they would want them at some point. 

 

Wonder if they may have relaxed the requirement a bit since then....

Maybe, I did mine over the phone since the nearest branch was 90 miles away.
