No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I moved here from the UK in June 08 and was immediately added as an authorised user to my husband's credit card. Since then I have gained 2 storecards and one guaranteed credit card of my own.
On experian (last check) I was listed as 730, my FICO report just came back as "no score as of May 2009"
Is there any way to contact someone to correct this or generate a fico score? Help!
Did you try pulling EQ or TU FICO score?
Have you pulled your free annual reports or a report directly from each CRA to see what is/isn't being reported?
I only have the Experian one because that was free... TU are the ones who came back with a "no score" result.
Should I contact them to amend? Do I have to pay to do that?
Sorry to be such a dimwit.... and posting in the wrong place!
sorry i just saw your link... i just went to annualcreditreport.com..... will requesting info on that lower/affect my credit score?
Thank you .... I used "freecreditreport.com" for my experian (still cant get the jingle out of my head lol)
You've been really helpful and I've been looking around the site which has also helped greatly - apparently authorised users on accounts were not considered by FICO until recently so that explains a lot....
I'll do some research, because no, I'm not dead Although one of my favourite quotes is "live fast, die young, make a good looking corpse"
Thanks again - you've given me hope at least!

FICO always considered AU accounts.
They were going to stop with the new scoring formula they are developing/have developed.
However, recently it was announced that they would NOT stop and would continue to count AU accounts in scoring.
then why havent they registered the fact that im an authorised user of a card since june 2008? and have had my own cards since march 2009?!!!
im confused
On the letter from FICO themselves received yesterday, it says "no record as of May 9th 2009"
On experian on that "fako" report that I have been checking for about 3 months now, it has shown ME (like yours) as having revolving credit since 2007 when he started the card alone.
Ive also had store cards in my own name since April (which showed as "good" on experian), and a credit card since this month (so I understand why THAT wouldnt show).
The funniest part is that im being refused the most by Chase.... who are taking over WaMu who I have had the darn card with for a year!!!!
<grumble grumble>
excellent pic btw.... I LOVE calvin and hobbes
