Ok so I have a 579 and need a 580 on my expirian and it hasn't changed in 3 months or so. And so I need help on getting it bumped up 1 more point to get into our new house what do I do
People could better help you if you could give us more specifics... how many credit cards do you have open and what kind of reported utilization are they reporting (individually and collectively) every month?
Ditto @JoeRockhead
Joe and others are good, but they need something to go on...
I have one credit card. I only use it for gas and groceries I pay it off as soon as I leave the pump or the store. I have a truck loan that I make double payments on. Everyone month never been behind. I have good credit utilization and perfect payments

I believe with only one credit card you get a higher score if you let that card report a small balance.
Less than 9% of the credit line.
Let $5 - $10 dollars report then pay the card off after statement date.

You're getting the all zero penalty.
With that score, you must have some baddies. If you post those, one of the wizards might suggest something to lessen impact there.

I believe that a three credit card combination is the CC profile "minimum" to strive for. It allows for a larger credit profile, but by no means creates a large credit profile. It's a healthy start.
