Negative deleted

My Fico Score decreased 40 points last month for a new collection account, This item was disputed and deleted 3 days ago, but my score hasn't budged. Does it usually take a while??

Re: Negative deleted

Did you pull a new report/score after the removal? Or are you waiting for a SW alert? SW alerts are usually a few days behind.

Re: Negative deleted

I got an email from Equifax with results from my dispute and it was deleted, when I pulled the report from credit check total it was off. I haven't received any notifications from scorewatch.A few weeks back I had 3 medical bills deleted and haven't got any alerts from that either.

Re: Negative deleted

Maybe I missed it, but did you check your actual FICO score? I see you checked CCT though.

Re: Negative deleted

No. I just assumed they would alert me if the score changed. My score is 540 and SW is set at 540. Am I doing this right or do I need to change something?

Sorry about the delay Carla. The snow has had me out the box for a few days. Yes, you are doing this correctly. Keep pushing.

I could be wrong, but it was my understanding that in order to trigger an alert when you score changed, you must have your target score set at least 1 point higher than your current score.

Disregard.
