Re: No change in Experian Score!!!!! WHY?

I to have noticed that EX tends to lag behind, and move slower (upwards) than the other two.
I wonder if there is a part of the algorithm that only they use that takes into account the previous months score or something that kind of dampens the score movement upwards.
Just a paranoid kind of thought...

Re: No change in Experian Score!!!!! WHY?

The weird thing is that for me, EX has always been my highest score, and it's always the first to post the creditor updates. I wish the other two were as prompt. Go figure!

I agree, EX is the promptest out of the 3....the new blance is reflected 2 days after the CC cycle date, next is EQ, 4 days, and TU usualy takes 5.

Re: No change in Experian Score!!!!! WHY?

In the unlikely event that my scores EVER advance at all, I would expect EX to be last, since it's already ahead of the other two. EQ and TU need to catch up, especially EQ, and then they can all march happily into the future, hand in hand.

Re: No change in Experian Score!!!!! WHY?

Well, disputing very old collections helped, I can't even believe my own eyes, TU score on 10/17/07 was 669, today it is at 733. I lowerd my balances on revolving accts, from 18K to 5K, which help the score go up to 683. But revmoving 2 collections and one 30 days late, made the biggest difference, If anybody say you can move the score 64 points in 3 weeks, well....I seen it.

Next step, let the new accts become year or older and it should move to score even higher.

Good Luck!!!!

Finally all three score over 720. So if anybody does not believe you can raie your score with some luck 70 points in a month, I can testify that it is very well possible.
