When I was log in into my Wells Online banking today, there is button for Check your FICO score today! Its FREE, but FICO9, not FICO8.
Love it because most lenders switching to FICO9 these days ![]()
I just checked mine and it's 25 points lower than my Fico 8, ugh!
Yeah mine is consitently lower as well, but I read somewhere that Fico9 didn't penalize for collections once they are paid like 8 does. There has to be some more differences in the formula maybe someone can chime in.

Differences between FICO9, FICO8 and Vantage scores are post #137 of this thread:

Utilization rate | Very important | Very important | Very important | Very important |
Historical utilization rate and payment info (trended data) | May affect your score | No impact | No impact | No impact |

Thanks ABCD, so my paid collections are hurting my Fico8 but shouldn't be my Fico9 and with that being the only difference I'd think my 9 should be higher. That is what doesn't make much sense.

I have a $44.00 unpaid medical collection. Since it's ignored under Fico 9, it seems my Fico 9 would be higher. There appears to be a lot more difference in Fico 8 and Fico 9 that we don't know about.

I just re-read and unpaid medical aren't ignored under Fico 9 but weighed less.
Thanks ABCD. Nice comparison! Love it
Was that FICO score available to the OP because he had a credit account? I was just speaking to a source inside Wells Fargo tonight and he said that WF will be offering FICO scores to people who only having savings/checking. (Previously you needed a credit account.) It would be pleasant to see that this has already started.
At first glance I thought the thread title said EQ, not EX. I'm all about finding new sources that provide a free FICO score that uses EQ data...
