PFD Acceptance!

I just received my second PFD acceptance !  Here's what their response stated:

We represent the above referenced client in collection services for the referred account.  If payment in full is received in our office by 10/26/07, we will agree to delete this from your credit report, otherwise we will mark it as a paid collection.  Please mail your payment to:

BTW - this is for a hospital co-pay of $100, date of service 04/03/05, still within SOL

Two down, but still a lot of work to do.  I'm sending payment (CMRRR) today and will pull my scores again on the 20th.  Hopefully, with these PFDs and a few GWs I've sent, my scores will be on the rise.  Wish me luck.

Scrambling-

I think the highlighted section means I have to pay the $100 on or before 10/26/07 or they will not be willing to delete from the CRA . . . is my thinking wrong on this?

EDIT:  Does the "otherwise we will mark it as a paid collection" mean they don't have to delete even though they stated "we will agree to delete this from your credit report"?

I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on this - I'll hold my payment until I'm more sure of their intentions.  Thanks!

I received a response from a PFD similiar to yours and they did delete....

It's the "we will agree to" part that worries me...Agreeing to delete and deleting are not the same thing...

...but maybe I'm just being paranoid.
