PFD but not offf????

I paided off 3 collections from my wifes account and have the letters that say everything was PIF and should be deleted but nothing came off.

Should I send copys of the PFD letter from the collections agency with a letter asking to please have deleted?

These were paid off end of November beginning of December

Thanks all!!

Re: PFD but not offf????

From what I have read in the past, they sometimes take 30 days or so to delete because every CA has a different cycle of updating their accounts every month. If it's been past that I suggest Disp with the CRA via fax and include those letters plus proof of your payment. The pro's will surely weigh in also.

It can take up to a few reporting cycles for that info to be deleted from the CBRs, so that is quite normal.

I would make copies of the letters and send it with a dispute to the appropriate CRAs to see if that will speed it along though for sure.   Smiley Happy
