Pay for delete question

I got behind on several cards when I was going through cancer treatment the eventually closed them. I've got three of them in Reduced interest plan with a reduced payment. I'm doing better now and may be going back to work full time. I kk ow the basics of the pay for delete. But not sure what percentage I should offer. I do not have the resources to do a PFD on all of them right, but could do a percentage. For those of you who have been successful with this did you offer a percentage of 25% or more? Also what position lever did you contact as I'm sure the first person who answered the phone doe not have authority.

thanks

Bruce

Re: Pay for delete question

Offer them what you can afford. Let them  know they're first up on your list for calls. If they can't make a deal you're gonna move on to the next call. Depending on how much you owe and how old the debt is, they almost always wanna make a deal. Get it in writing before you pay anything.
