I've read some old threads from last year that indicated that PenFed's PLOC had some erratic and non predictable balance reporting. I wasn't sure if I should revive a really old thread or start a new one. How has Penfed PLOC balance reporting been for you? Has it been reporting the statement balance? Or has it been reporting the balance on a certain day of the month? Has it been consistent from month to month? Thanks

For me
1. it has never reported the statement balance
2. it has reported the balance from as early as the last day of the month and from as late as the 6th of the month
3. The last time it reported the balance from 6/30 or 7/1.

I see from the old posts on the topic that not much has changed for you. At least it gives me an idea of what to expect but I guess I'll have to do some experiments myself. Have they at least reported with information that is current for you? ( I have seen old posts where someone had a balance that was acouple of months old somehow show up and get reported...and I've also seen a post where someone indicated that they paid it off but that it was still reporting a balance)

Once they reported the balance from 2 months prior, but that only happened once.
Update. This month it reported the balance from the 5th of the month.
The range continues to be from the 1st of the month to the 6th of the month.
Very odd.

Read on another forum that someone contacted penfed about PloC reporting and was told they make an attempt to report on or around the first Saturday of the month. Does this seem to hold true for you?
Wow! A possible pattern! I'm so excited. But skeptical.
It did report the first Saturday balance for March, July, and August.
But in February it reported the balance from the 6th, which was the first Monday.
Well I'm going to test the theory of the PenFed PLOC "attempting to report on or around the first Saturday of the month" and see if it pans out.
According to that theory the next reported balance should be that of September 2nd.

I get the sense it was "on or about the first Saturday of the month" with some leeway for slight variations. At least I have somewhat of a mental marker now as to when it may report.
I'm going to treat it as "on or slightly after the first Saturday of the month"
